Privacy policy

This notice covers the 11000L website, textile-and-sewing-group accounts, group pages, meetup sign-ups, account emails and cancellation notices sent through Resend. Independently linked websites have their own policies.

Who is responsible

Albatech SpA, Av. Central Nº490, Placilla, Valparaíso, Chile, is the website operator and the contact for privacy enquiries. Email: hola@albatech.cl.

Website visits and technical data

Delivering a web page requires the hosting infrastructure to process technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Technical logs may also be processed to maintain availability, investigate errors and protect against abuse.

11000L has no checkout, newsletter signup or contact form. No optional analytics or advertising tools have been added to the website application. User accounts for textile and sewing groups are described in the next section.

Hosting infrastructure and the Lovable editor preview are separate from the website application. The editor may capture technical errors for development; this notice does not promise that infrastructure produces no logs.

Accounts, group pages and meetup sign-ups

You can create a free account to run a textile and sewing group using an email address and password or Google sign-in. Passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes. Google sign-in shares basic identity data, such as your email address, with the authentication service. We process account data to provide and secure the requested service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

As a group admin you can publish a group page with the group name, city, country, description and meetups (title, date, location, description). You can hide your group page at any time; a hidden page is no longer publicly visible. Please do not publish personal data of third parties without their permission.

You can exclude a visible group from the directory. Its direct link remains public: anyone with the link can view the group and join meetups. This is not password protection or private access.

We store the language used when you register or sign in with your password in your account to send account emails in that language. A language-specific action link takes priority. This preference is used to provide the requested service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), not for tracking, and is deleted with your account.

Group photos are stored to display your group in the directory and on meetups. Upload only images you have the right to publish, with permission from identifiable people. You can replace or remove the image. Hidden groups cannot issue new visitor image links; existing links expire within five minutes. Site administrators can access and manage accounts and groups for operation, moderation and deletion requests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Meetup registration requires your name and email address. We use your address for cancellation notices about the meetup you registered for, not for marketing or general organiser messages. We store your registration language and browser time zone to format these notices. Group owners see participant names, not email addresses; the operator and the necessary service providers process addresses to operate the service and send notices. Registration and cancellation data is processed to provide the requested meetup service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Cancelling a meetup closes registration but retains existing sign-ups.

Account and group data is processed using the hosting, authentication and storage services supporting 11000L. This notice does not guarantee that every service, log or backup is processed exclusively in the European Union. You can request correction or deletion of your account and associated data via hola@albatech.cl.

Contact by email

Account emails use the notify.11000l.com sender domain and process the recipient address, authentication action, language and required confirmation link or security code. Meetup cancellation notices use Resend and the separate sender no-reply@updates.11000l.com. Email providers also process technical delivery information for delivery and abuse prevention. These are service and security messages, not newsletter subscriptions. The application does not offer general organiser messages to participants. The no-reply address does not handle enquiries; use the operator contact below.

If you email us, your address, message and any information you choose to include are processed to respond and handle your enquiry. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.

Meetup cancellation emails and Resend

We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) as an email service provider for necessary meetup cancellation notices from 11000L <no-reply@updates.11000l.com>. Resend receives the recipient address and the message content: group name, meetup title, date and time formatted using the registration language and time zone, location, group link and the organiser’s reason. It also processes technical delivery information. We submit a separate email for each registration; addresses are not disclosed to the organiser or other participants. These are service messages, not marketing (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Provider acceptance is not proof of inbox delivery. Do not include sensitive personal data or unnecessary information about other people in cancellation reasons.

Resend may process data outside the EEA, including in the USA. Its Data Processing Addendum includes EU Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant international transfers. The operator must ensure that the applicable processing agreement and transfer safeguards are in place; EU-only processing is not guaranteed. You can contact the operator to request information about these safeguards. Sending cancellation notices does not give Resend permission to use your address for our marketing.

Google Fonts and website assets

This website loads the Archivo Black and Hind fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to request the font resources, which discloses technical information including your IP address and request headers. Images and logos are delivered as website assets and may be served through content-delivery infrastructure.

Google’s own privacy notice explains its processing: Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies and external links

Your browser’s preferred languages are read locally to suggest a supported language. Your manual language choice is stored only in your browser, without tracking or a location lookup. See our cookie policy for details about this preference and how to remove it.

When you follow a link to an external website, that operator’s privacy and cookie policies apply. This includes the research sources, AVentures, Minimist and MENDED. Their account, retail or repair services are not operated through 11000L.

Purposes, legal bases and recipients

Personal data is processed only as needed to deliver and secure the website, handle communications and meet applicable legal obligations. Where the GDPR applies, relevant legal bases may include legitimate interests in website operation and security, steps taken at your request before a contract, or compliance with a legal obligation. Any processing that requires consent must have that consent before it begins.

Hosting, content-delivery and email service providers may process data as necessary for these purposes. External resource providers, such as Google Fonts, process requests under their own privacy terms. Data may be processed outside your country, including in Chile and countries where providers operate; applicable international-transfer requirements must be observed.

Retention

For each cancellation we store a message copy containing the recipient address and meetup details, together with a local timestamp once the email service accepts it, so pending messages can be retried. These copies and timestamps remain linked to the registration, including after acceptance, and are deleted when the registration, meetup or group is deleted. Resend delivery logs and backups are separate and follow its own retention rules; deletion in 11000L does not immediately erase provider logs or backups.

Account and group records are retained while needed to provide the service and until a deletion request is handled, subject to legal obligations. Deleting a group or meetup removes its associated sign-ups. A cancelled meetup retains its sign-ups. Account deletion removes associated groups and sign-ups, but backups and security or delivery logs may expire separately under provider retention rules.

Enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to handle the matter and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Technical-log retention depends on the hosting service and its operational and security requirements. No uniform deletion period is stated for all data. Contact us for information about a particular record or request.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority.

Send requests to hola@albatech.cl. We may need information to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal data.

Changes to this notice

This notice must be updated if the website introduces new forms, analytics or other data processing.
